There's Playstation and Xbox, but no Wii? You should be ashamed of yourselves! :D
So lemme see... favorite Wii games. I love that one shooting minigame on Wii Play. I have a platinum medal! I'm like the sharp shooter of the family. I also like the Zelda series alot, so Twilight Princess is a definite fav, along with Smash Bros Brawl. I'm also a large DDR fan, and was pretty enthused when I figured out that they had one comming out for the Wii. I don't play it much, though, because it really works you out.
The game I'm really looking forward to would have to be Wii Music. I saw a video of Koji Kondo playing Wii Music, conducting the Underworld Theme from Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. It looked freaken awwweeesome.
... So yeah. Done now! :-D

I have a Wii :D I love it. We bought it cheap from a friend and have the Wii sports game, so me and my husband play tennis and golf alot. I have a hard time spending $50 on a friggin game so we've just been downloading all the old classic games right now, like Mario bros

XD Sweet! My cousin bought the Mario Bros game.... Drives her nuts though, she dies pretty easily... Lol. I'm not that much better at it, though.
It's suprising how hard the old games are... o_o

well I played most of those games when I was a kid, so I have everything memorized :D we did download the first version of mario bros game that I guess they didnt release in America cause they didnt think Americans were smart enough to figure it out, so it was only released in other countries....but I guess they was right cause I cant seem to win it :p

>_> I'm not sure wether or not they released the first Mario Bros in the U.S. Once again, my cousin has one of the old Mario games downloaded to her Wii, but I forget which one it is... One of the side-scrollers, anyway.
My Dad is like that too! He kicks butt on Pacman... He downloaded a version to his computer and sets it to like 5 times the speed. Show off.

The forum was created before Wii existed ;)
I have tried it at my friend’s house, it's fun and quite different but I wouldn't invest in one myself. I am more of a PS girl :D
I remember the Super Mario games, we had a Nintendo when I was little. It's was great fun and the games were so much harder back then I think. Nowadays it's more about the graphic...
For Wii I have tried Bowling, it was fun but it's so weird to play it in the beginning cause it's so much different from the usual way of controlling things.

Well Nintendo... is all I ever had :p Super Nintendo, Nintendo64, Nintendo GameCube,, Nintendo Advance SP, NintendoDS lite, Wii... got them all :p
Smash Bros Brawl must be mentioned as a favourite, it's not available in Europe yet but I'm really looking forward to it :D
We did recently buy MarioKart for Wii and it's big fun :p It's waaaay more difficult and I always happen to end up 12th (considering there are only 12 players.. :p) but I suppose I just have to get used to it :p
Also, one of my favourites is Mario Party :) Really cool to play that one with a bunch of friends :p

I definitely think Nintendo has the cutest games, that's what I like about it. Especially the Zelda games, I would so love to play them. That would be the reason to buy one if ever :D

If you're talking about the game Mario Bros. as opposed to Super Mario Bros., then it came out as an arcade game in the US and was later released for several systems, including the Atari 2600, 5200, 7800, a Commodore 64 version, as well as other obscure systems. I'm not sure that the original NES version (there definitely was one) ever came out in the US, but if not, I think it was just a matter of it being thought to be a saturated market by then. Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES also included a version of this game, though.
Of course, the first Super Mario Bros. came out for the NES in the US. It was the game that came with the system for a good long time.
There was, though, Kaettekita Mario Bros. released in Japan, but not the US. It was a slightly enhanced version of the original that Nintendo didn't believe would sell well in the US because the original game was not so tremendously popular here as in Japan, and they were probably right. :-)

I'll definitely share my wii love!
I have always been a big fan of Nintendo, i've had all of their consoles over the years and the Legend of Zelda collection is without doubt my most beloved videogame series. A couple of years back i used to review videogames for a website and i was simply over the moon to review Twilight Princess when that was released. It is also out on the Wii and is definitely worth a look. It has some beautiful art work throughout and the way they presented the twilight realm is breathtaking.
Here's my review if anyone is interested!

Right now i'm loving Wii Fit. Its absolutely genius. I'm generally quite into my fitness already but its had me collapse on the floor in a sweaty mess a few times now. Its a lot of fun and often you dont even realize you are exercising.

I so want a Wii!
Some weeks back I had the chance to play the good old games - the very first Zelda, and Link on some friend's Wii and I was so caught up in the games again. It was amazing to play them again. I got to have a Wii sometimes *love*

That's what I mainly would do too.. it's so fun to play the old games, it so reminds me of when I was little and I used to play it with my siblings. We had almost all the Mario games and SO played them :D
I really dream of playing the newest Zelda games, as I really love these games.

oh yes the Mario Bros games remind me of being little too :D I remember I used to watch my older brother play mario bros 3 over and over again, I loved watching him beat the whole game. We'd spend all day just playing it and he'd teach me all these secrets. I was always hoping there'd be a way to play those games again, since the first really old nintendo's dont really work well anymore without turning off in the middle of a game :)

Yes, it's quite cool you can do that and re-live the old ones.
For the past 10 years I have been a Playstation girl, so I am much more familiar with these games. I always hoped they would do some of the releases to Nintendo's for Playstation too as I so love the cuteness of the games. I always fall in love with the more cute looking games as I am not into the creepy and bloody killing ones.
