my lips suck!! :x

hey everyone,i need some advice. i have been doing some very good portraits ( for a 15 yr old who has only been doing them for 2 months) but i have one big problem-lips!-
i usually end up just drawing half the face because my lips really suck :?
any adive at all? i already tried the tutorial. any comments are much appriciated.

Well, maybe you could try and post one of your drawings. It's difficult to give any advice not knowing how you draw...

hey zindy,
i would have posted my newest drwaing ( the lips are very bad) but i dont have a scanner anymore :( put it this way....mine look about the same as they did in 5th grade and i cant get them to change. i've even tried cross hatching them instead of regular shading

wat i did to be able to draw lips is i look at other peoples drawings and tryed to copy theirs. it gives you a better idea about how to draw lips seeing as drawings are fairly simple to see the lines of how people draw them.
